Kenneth J. Sobel is a veteran trial attorney with nearly three decades of experience practicing law. He focuses on medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury claims, seeking justice for those who have been victims of neglect, abuse and fraud perpetrated by others. He has secured several awards exceeding a million dollars on behalf of his clients and has been a lead attorney in several high profile cases, including the Menorah Gardens Cemetery class action.

Sobel is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals—Eleventh Circuit, U.S. District Court-Middle and South Districts of Florida and the United States Tax Court. In addition to his legal practice, he is a member of the Florida Justice Association’s board of directors where he chairs the organization’s Medical Malpractice Committee.

Sobel has also earned a number of honors during his distinguished career. He is rated AV® Preeminent ™, by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, one of the country’s most distinguished peer-rating systems. He’s also been named a Top Attorney in Florida by Florida Super Lawyers, as well as a Top Lawyer by the South Florida Legal Guide, both for several years in a row. He was also selected by his peers to be included in the 2012 Best Lawyers in America for Personal Injury Litigation.

Sobel earned his law degree from Yeshiva University’s Cardozo School of Law in New York and received his undergraduate degree from Lake Forest College in Chicago, with honors.
